Clint Williams

Performing Arts Department Chair

Upper School Chorus, Vocal Ensemble, 7/8 Chorus, & 7/8 Performing Arts Classes

Mr. Williams serves as Performing Arts Chair and also teaches Upper School Chorus and Vocal Ensemble.  Additionally, he teaches 7/8 Grade Chorus, 7/8 General Music, and produces both the fall play and the spring musical for SRTC, of which he is also the Music Director.   He is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, where he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music.  He has also completed post- graduate studies in opera performance at Temple University, where he also was a voice instructor in the Music Preparatory Division.  Mr. Williams has performed in many operas and oratorios over the years.  His honors include second place in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and being named a finalist in the Orpheus National Vocal Competition.  This past summer, Mr. Williams served as the Assistant Musical Director for The Brandywiners, Ltd., production of Camelot and was the rehearsal conductor for the Festival Chorus at the 2009 American Choral Directors Association's Voices United Conference in Fairfax, Virginia.








Jennifer Campbell

Fourth Grade Chorus, 5/6 Performing Arts Classes, 5/6 Chorus, & Lower School General Music (Grades 2 & 4)

Ms. Campbell is a member of both the Lower and Middle School faculty. She is responsible for teaching second, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade general music. She also serves as the director for two of the Sanford choruses. She is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College where she received her bachelor's in Music Education. She has begun graduate work, completing both level 1 of Orff and Kodaly at West Chester University. Ms. Campbell will continue to devote time to SRTC as the
technical director, a role which she highly enjoys. In her spare time Ms. Campbell enjoys reading and doing paint by numbers.
















Sarah Kuwik

Instrumental Music

Upper School Band, Upper School Jazz Band, 7/8 Band, & 7/8 Performing Arts Classes

Ms. Kuwik directs the Upper School Concert Band, the Upper School Jazz Band, and the 7/8 Concert Band. Additionally, she teaches 7/8 General Music, instrumental group lessons for grades 4-12, and co-directs the Sanford Pep Band. This is her sixth year at Sanford School. Originally from Michigan, Ms. Kuwik completed her undergraduate studies at Western Michigan University, and graduate studies at Eastern Michigan University, concentrating in music education. She has served on the faculty for Friends Music Camp in Barnesville, Ohio, and Interlochen Arts Camp All-State in Interlochen, Michigan. An active performer, Ms. Kuwik is the Associate Principal Trumpet of the Newark Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra and has performed with the Atlantic Brass Band of New Jersey as well the Johannes Brass and Just Brass quintets. She was a founding member of the Delaware State Solo & Ensemble Committee and currently serves as the Assistant Director for Middletown Marching Band. In her spare time, Ms. Kuwik enjoys running and playing tennis. She completed her first marathon last spring and is the assistant coach for the Sanford Girls tennis team. Go Warriors!






Chad Smith

Lower School Band, 5/6 Band, 7/8 Jazz Band, & Lower School General Music (Grades JK, K, 1, & 3)


Mr. Smith is currently in his second year teaching at Sanford.  In addition to the instrumental ensembles he directs, he co-directs the Sanford Pep Band and also serves as the General Music Teacher in the Lower School to Junior Kindergarten, Kindergarten, First, and Third Grades. Mr. Smith is a native of Virginia where he taught previously in Bedford County Schools for two years.  There he stayed active in his county providing a workshop on technology in the music room to colleagues as well as acquiring a technology grant for his classroom. He is a graduate of Radford University, where he received his bachelor's degree in music education and graduated with honors.  Mr. Smith enjoys running and traveling, as well as playing in several community groups.
