Home & School Association Organizational Overview

The Home & School Association is a parent-run, volunteer organization that helps promote a close relationship between Sanford School and its parents. All parents, faculty, staff and administration are welcome and encouraged to participate. General membership meetings are held five times a year and all parents, faculty, staff and administration are encouraged to attend to hear updates from the head of school, division heads, committee/activity chairs, association activities, and to participate in discussions of matters of mutual interest.

What does the Association do?

The Home & School Association promotes communication and positive relationships between parents and the school.  It also coordinates the activities of parents in a myriad of activities including events to raise funds for additional equipment/supplies for our children, appreciation activities and social events for student groups, parents and families.

Mark your calendars now for our Spring Fundraiser.  Throw on your favorite jeans or find your best J.R.Ewing attire and join us for a great evening.
 
Items are needed for the Auction:  Gift baskets, sports tickets, gift certificates to your favorite restaurant or store, a bottle of wine, a service that you can provide,  use your imagination!  we can use it all.  Donation forms can be put in the Home&School mail box in Steven May Hall or outside of our office (next to the Spirit Store).  If you have an item that cannot be put in our box, please let one of our officers know and we can make arrangements to get the item

2011-2012 Meetings 

Our next meeting will be held January 26th at 6:30 pm in the Commons of Stephen May.  Topics of discussion will include an introduction of the new Website and a presentation of the "Empty Bowls" program.  Free childcare is available, reserve your spot with Rita Dietrich.
